Unifree Duty Free has partnered with Surgitate to launch the #care social responsibility project within the scope of breast cancer awareness month. This initiative aims to raise awareness about breast cancer among female employees through a series of physical training sessions.
Unifree Duty Free has acquired breast prototypes from Surgitate to facilitate these training sessions. The #care campaign includes informative materials placed in women’s restrooms at Unifree offices. By scanning a QR code on the mirrors, women can access instructions and practice breast self-examinations using the prototypes.
The project also features in-company training sessions where employees learn how to conduct their own breast examinations and recognize symptoms that require medical consultation and the importance of routine checks.
Talking about the social responsibility project “Breast cancer affects one in eight women globally, and the age of onset is decreasing. As an organization with a predominantly female workforce, we prioritize women’s health initiatives. Through the #care project, we aim to highlight the importance of early detection and encourage our female employees to perform regular self-checks. This project provides our employees with the knowledge and tools to conduct routine inspections using the prototypes we have provided.” said Unifree Duty Free CEO Korhan Öz.
#care corporate social responsibility campaign underlines Unifree Duty Free’s commitment to supporting women’s health and raising awareness about breast cancer.
